Enamel Earring Making In-Person
For ages 14+
Cost: $65 (All supplies included. Free for MS/HS students, contact the library for details.)
Registration Required
Come make a pair of enamel earrings with Ashley Lohr! Instruction will focus on the design styles of obré, stencil, and sgraffito. This is a hands on workshop and participants will be using a hand-held torch while learning how to torch fire powder enamel on copper. Each participant will have their own enameling work station and will be guided through layers of shifting, torching and cleaning to create their own pair of enamel earrings. Please wear your hair up, bring a paper mask and close toed shoes.
