Enamel Earring Making

Enamel Earring Making In-Person

For ages 14+
Registration Fee: $75, Includes all supplies for 1 pair of earrrings (Free for limited number of MS/HS Students)

Registration Required, please pay by credit card at time of registration. If registration fee is not recieved within 2 business days registration will automatically be cancelled. Registration deadline is Wednesday November 13 at 5pm. A minimum of 6 adults is required.
 
This is a combined class for beginners and advanced/repeat enamellers.
 

For Beginners: Instruction will focus on the design styles of ombré, stencil, and sgraffito. This is a hands on workshop and participants will be using a hand-held torch while learning how to torch fire powder enamel on copper. Each participant will have their own enamelling work station and will be guided through layers of shifting, torching and cleaning to create their own pair of enamel earrings (1 pair). Please wear your hair up, bring a paper mask and close toed shoes. 

Advanced or Repeat Enamellers (Cost: additional $25, please pay Ashley directly at time of class): Must have taken an enameling class from Ashley in the past 12 months. There will be a short amount of reminder instruction focused on safety. Then you are free to use the time to create up to 3 pairs of earrings! Each participant will have their own work station. Please wear your hair up, bring a paper mask and close toed shoes.
